A slow vintage meant acids and flavours were particularly intense, and it shows in the finished wine: the nose boasts green apple, gooseberry and dry lemon zest (with a hint of grassiness and lees-brioche), and the palate delivers racy, zingy acidity through a creamy, sherbety mousse that stays lively without lifting off.
