Workshops are for adults or teens 15+. Ticket admission is the same price for adults and teens over 15. For safety reasons, children under 18 must be accompanied with a ticketed adult.

After class support | Leave the class with beginner watercolor skills, and everything needed to keep practicing and to get you started on your own projects. After class, you’ll be invited to join our private Facebook group, where students can ask follow-up questions, share their projects, and get ongoing tips and support from our instructor and fellow creative souls & calligraphy lovers in the area.

Instructor | Pearl Lui is a local New Jersey artist and modern calligrapher. She holds a Natural Science Illustration certificate from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and a Botanical Illustration Certificate from the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE). She is a member of International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers and Teachers of Handwriting (IAMPETH), Society of Scribes NYC, The National Association of Women Artists (NAWA), and Guild of Natural Science Illustrators (GNSI). Specializing in  Botanical & Wildlife Painting and Modern Calligraphy, she blends expressive strokes, scientific observation, and a whimsical touch. Prior to her art career, she spent over 20 years in New York City, leading marketing strategy and mentoring marketing teams at publicly traded companies.
