The blade is made from recycled carbon steel saw blade paired with a beautiful Cleanstone handle made from 100% recycled milk bottles, lids, labels and soft plastics - giving it a marbling pattern. Three brass rivets hold together the blade and the handle, producing a simple design which suits any kitchen.

Every knife handle pattern is unique and may feel slightly textured to the touch by design. This is a feature of Cleanstone that divert hard to recycle and mixed plastics, diverting it from landfill.

ABOUT NUZ

Nuz was founded in 2019, but its roots go much deeper. Founder Madison Baker has knife-making in her DNA – back in 1983, her father started knife brand Svord. Watching her dad hand-making knives and turning his business into one of New Zealand’s best-loved hunting and fishing knife brands gave her a true appreciation for the craft.
