known as the Tiger Girl roamed the jungles of India with her tiger Benzali and her faithful
East Indian companion Abdola. Armed with a whip, a magic ring that increased her strength,
and her wits Tiger Girl battled poachers, bandits, slavers, unscrupulous treasure seekers, and
a multitude of evil doers to protect her jungle and people. It was only a matter of time until
she became Fight ComicÕs feature character on the front cover.
What made this series so special was the gorgeous interior artwork by Matt Baker, Jack Kamen,
Bob Webb, Ken Battefield and various other artists in the Iger Shop as well as the covers by Joe
Doolin. Matt BakerÕs page layouts and his ability to draw alluring women, eerie backdrops and
savage animals make each story a Golden Age gem.
