The Lifeline ECG can be operated just the same as the Lifeline VIEW in AED mode. It can be changed to run ECG mode for monitoring purposes by using a 3-wire ECG adaptor cable. It is easy to switch between the 2 different modes through simple soft key operation. With separate ECG monitoring pads, the ECG has a low lifetime cost, as monitoring through the defibrillator pads can be expensive.
If you want a defibrillator designed specifically for medical professionals that provides you with an ECG monitor but you do not need to be able to override the unit to provide manual shock then the Lifeline ECG is suited to your needs.
