Sturdy Build Quality. This rear shock gets its strength from a 46mm shock body machined from high-grade steel which also provides excellent heat dissipation for reliable fade-free performance. This assembly also uses a 14mm chrome-hardened steel alloy piston rod, making it sturdy enough to take the knocks of regular off-roading. Additionally, this shock is equipped with premium neoprene rubber bushings, offering excellent vibration damping which helps your RAM?s ride quality much smoother. Finally, this component receives a wear-resistant zinc plating and clear topcoat for excellent corrosion protection.
Straightforward Install Procedure. This rear shock is designed to mount into your truck using its factory shock location without the need for extra drilling in most applications. Installation requires just standard hand tools to complete.
