The composition stacks all three birds in a vertical ascending arrangement, reading as a single surge of momentum from base to apex.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished

Each bird is cast individually using the traditional lost-wax process, which preserves the exceptional feather-by-feather surface detail across wings, flanks, and breast. The hand-applied dark brown-black patina is deepened across the primary feathers and body surfaces, with deliberate verdigris oxidation allowed to settle across the wing tips and dorsal plumage, giving the piece the weathered authority of a large outdoor bronze wildlife sculpture that has lived in its landscape. Webbed feet on the lowest figure and the open-beaked expressions of all three birds contribute an immediacy that photograph-based compositions rarely achieve.
